On the 16th of April I packed up my cameras and headed off to the beautiful Parsonage Gardens in Didsbury to meet up with Anika and Phil for their pre wedding shoot! I arrive a little early so I had time to have a wee nosey around and find a few spots that I was sure Anika and Phil would love.

When they arrived I almost couldn’t contain my excitement to see that they had brought 2 beautiful cocker spaniels with them who they had for the day from borrow my doggy  which is an amazing website for people who love dogs but maybe can’t have one full time.

So time to get started ……. its really not unusual at all for couples to be a bit nervous about having their pictures taken but Anika and Phil had nothing to worry about at all they were so natural with each other with lots of hugs and laughs (and a few dodgy scottish impressions!) they really made my job easy! We walked, talked, walked and talked some more as well as throwing in a few pictures along the way! At our first meeting Anika and Phil mentioned they were both enjoyed gardening to we found a perfect spot in the gardens with a beautiful glass greenhouse so it was the perfect backdrop to use for some of their pictures and we will hopefully get to recreate these again on their wedding day we really can’t wait to photograph their big day in August!

We really do love a pre wedding shoot we feel this is such a great way to spend a little more time with our couples to get to know them a little better and see exactly what they are comfortable with and to show them that its really not scary at all we really pride ourselves on keeping your shoot relaxed and natural!
